Optimising health literacy to improve outcomes

Session synopsis: Join a panel session exploring the link between health literacy, wellbeing and health outcomes and how improving and supporting people’s ability and confidence to self care, self manage and to positively and effectively interact with the health and care service is a critical component to optimising health outcomes and designing sustainable care pathways. Examples of new resources and research will form part of this session to help the audience consider different types of health literacy interventions that can be embedded in a value based healthcare system.
