PROMs interoperability and semantics – how PROMs are trailblazing an open architecture model for NHS Wales

Session Time: 14:00-15:00 Thursday 11th November

Session synopsis: NHS Wales has grown its expertise in digital PROM collection over the past five years, moving from single disease pilots using standalone platforms to a fast moving and expanding mixed economy of conditions and platforms across the system.

This session will focus on some of the technical work underway to adopt open architecture models to support PROMs collection and data flows across digital ecosystems.

The expert speakers will describe how multiple pieces of work (both nationally and locally) spanning from data standards to APIs development and data modelling are being applied to PROMs data collection, to support an open architecture in line with the NHS Wales digital strategy.

Speakers: Said Shadi, Stephen Frith and Angela Parratt

Duration: 60 minutes
