Session synopsis: Betsi Cadwaladr UHB has been applying value based healthcare principles to hip and knee replacement pathway, introducing PROMs to support virtual reviews, transforming the care experience of patients, increasing follow up capacity and reducing the cost of care, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will share the health board’s journey so far and describe the next steps as this work is spread to other areas.
