Information Analyst

Russell has worked as an Information Analyst within Healthcare for 12 years, in the NHS in England, Wales and in Belgium too.  

He has worked in the Value Based Healthcare team at Swansea Bay UHB since August 2020.  His role has four main areas of responsibility: supporting clinical staff in different services; maintaining the PROM collection systems used at SBUHB; writing SQL code to analyse the data collected; and getting creative with the analysed data to design reports that non-technical people can understand. Using SQL and Power BI on a daily basis.  

In previous jobs Russell spent years working with QlikView and QlikSense. Originally from New Zealand, Russell has been based in Europe for more than 20 years. When not at work, he can usually be found exploring the hills or coastline of Wales. If the borders are open then you may also find him exploring a new town, city or country, usually on the hunt for the best local food and beer he can find.
