Senior Healthcare Scientist

Rob started at Cedar, a Healthcare Technology Research Centre based at Cardiff and Vale UHB in 2016, having previously gained his PhD and worked at Swansea University. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at Cardiff University and is co-supervisor to Cedar's trainees on the NSHCS Scientist Training Program in Health Informatics.  

As a member of the national Value in Health Programme's analytical team, Rob has experience in analysing a range of PROMs and PREMs data, has contributed to the validation of electronic and Welsh language PROMs tools, and has assisted in the development of NHS Wales' National PROMs Platform. He has published and presented on topics including data analysis, medical image analysis, machine learning, and the collection and analysis of PROMs data.
