Session synopsis: Building on the strategy outlined in A Healthier Wales, the Welsh Government this year published its National Clinical Framework: A Learning Health and Care System. Value Based Healthcare is the core of this delivery model and requires a greater ability to collect data and turn it into information and knowledge.
This session will be facilitated by Interim National Clinical Director, Dr Allan Wardhaugh, who is leading its implementation. A panel of experts from across Wales will highlight some of the latest developments from Wales to help bring data to life to drive the transformation agenda across NHS Wales.
They will showcase and discuss the emerging 'Intelligence for Value Framework' and 'Advance Analytics for Value' and the wider determinants of healthcare. These tools, ways of working and information advances are critical to a data-driven value-based approach over the next decade.
