Health Data Research UK and the Trials Methodology Research Partnership on Patient Reported Outcomes for Better Care

In November 2020 a few of the ViH team were invited to join a workshop run by Health Data Research UK and the Trials Methodology Research Partnership on Patient Reported Outcomes for Better Care. This virtual event was attended by researchers, patients and clinicians from across the UK who have in interest in embedding PROMs into routine practice to improve care and research opportunities.

A number of fascinating presentations were given and these provided fuel for a lively and topical debate on the challenges and opportunities that PROMs collection and integration can bring. Plans are in place for future workshops to continue the discussions and to provide a platform for sharing ideas and learning.
