Sam joined the team in January 2022 as a Project Support Officer. Prior to this she was EA to NHS Wales National Director for Mental Health and simultaneously the Programme Support Officer for NHSWHC Mental Health Network. Her initial role at ViH includes assisting the PMO to quality assure programme and project management control processes; track project plans and benefits; build and maintainin the PMO library, develop and implement PMO documentation, reporting structure and process; support the Programme Delivery Board and sub groups; provide guidance both written and orally on tools, procedures and techniques throughout the organisation; provide training in new processes where required, and support the PMO in the preparation of policy, SOPs and Templates. Prior to joining the NHS (eBusiness Central Team) in 2019, Sam lived and worked abroad for 14 years in Mauritius and Southern Africa, running her own businesses. She is an experienced copy writer with sound marketing, comms and graphic design skills, as well as a good working knowledge of accounting and audit processes. Sam is a highly adaptable all-rounder who is delighted to have the opportunity to make a difference along with the team and establish Value in Health across NHS Wales.
